Please be advised of notice of the CVSA AGM – HSC will be sending 4 delegates (incl coach)

Notice is hereby given that the 15th Annual General Meeting of Coast & Valley Swimming Association will be held as follows:
Date Sunday 18th August 2024
Time 10:00am
Venue Club Kotara
2 Howell Street, KOTARA

Five (5) Management Committee and ALL Standing Committee positions will be declared vacant and nominations are being called for the following positions:
MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE:
Vice President retiring member Jackie Mckintosh
Secretary retiring member Jenny Schwetz
Development Co-ordinator retiring member Melisa Geale
Two (2) individual members retiring members Melissa Gillon+ 1 vacant position

Retiring committee members are eligible for re-election

STANDING COMMITTEES
*Selection & Development Committee: 5 individual members from 5 separate clubs & 1 coach

Competition Committee: 3 suitably qualified members & 1 coach

ATSC Committee: suitably qualified members/Appointments Officer

Retiring committee members are eligible for re-election

*Selection & Development Committee members will take up their positions on 1 October.

NOMINATIONS FOR MANAGEMENT AND/OR STANDING COMMITTEE POSITIONS:
Nominations on the prescribed form for Committee positions and Standing Committee positions are to be returned no later than 5pm 18th July 2024

NOTICE OF MOTION:
Any notices of motion to be included as Agenda items for the meeting, and nominations for the above positions are hereby called for and must be received by the Area Secretary by email or post no later than 5pm 18th July 2024

AGENDA PAPERS:
Agenda and associated AGM papers will be emailed to club secretaries at the last known email address no later than 4th August, 2024
Please ensure that your club contact details as held by Coast & Valley Swimming Association are correct.

ADVICE OF CLUB DELEGATE/S:
Your completed Club Delegate nomination form is to be returned no later than 5pm 18th July 2024

CVSA affiliated clubs will be permitted to have up to FOUR (4) delegates attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting. Changes to your club delegate/s will be accepted until 5pm 4th August 2024

We ask that you please be aware of the following safety information in relation to the event. This advice may change prior to the meet and any changes will be communicated directly with you. • If you or any member of your household have tested positive for COVID-19, please do not attend the event.

• If you or any member of your household are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19, please do not attend the event.

• Please practice good hygiene whilst present at the event and if you do begin to feel unwell during the day, please leave the venue. Hand sanitiser will be available.
• Please be mindful of social distancing at all times.

A Forum may be held following on from the AGM this year. The agenda will be sent out closer to the date.
